Narada Muni serves as the divine catalyst behind Lord Vishnu’s avatars. He is famously known as the ultimate cosmic messenger. He frequently orchestrated events—deliberately sparking conflicts, delivering cryptic warnings, or creating dilemmas—to ensure the necessary conditions were met for God to descend to Earth and restore Dharma. His role in the major Avatar descents includes:

• Lord Rama (The Ramayana): Narada Muni planted the seeds of the epic by narrating the story of the perfect man to sage Valmiki, inspiring the creation of the Ramayana. He also facilitated Rama's incarnation by guiding divine souls to be born as the Vanaras (monkey army) to assist in the defeat of Ravana. [1]
• Lord Krishna (The Mahabharata): Narada kept the celestial narrative moving forward. He famously revealed to King Kansa that the eighth child of Devaki would be his destroyer. This deliberate provocation directly caused Kansa to imprison Devaki and Vasudeva, setting the exact stage for Krishna’s miraculous birth and subsequent life events. [1]
